Switchback explores the staircase as a sculptural object. The three-piece set includes a straight flight, a turning stair, and a stepped terrace. Each design compresses a familiar architectural feature into a compact resin relief with a solid flat back.
Repeated treads create a rhythm of highlight and shadow. Broad side walls frame the steps and give the silhouettes a substantial outline, while the saturated colors keep the collection graphic. The forms are decorative abstractions, with no tiny railings, moving sections, or detachable parts.
Use Switchback as a small composition on a compatible refrigerator door, or place individual pieces beside lightweight notes.
